Ramona Flume
Contributing Writer Ramona Flume is a fifth-generation Texan and journalism student at the University of Texas at Austin. She has had a long-standing love affair with Latin America since first visiting Mexico as a child. She spent last summer traveling throughout Colombia, Peru and Bolivia for a traveling journalism fellowship and plans on returning to South America as soon as she graduates this spring. In between classes, writing for Popular Hispanics and editing the UT magazine, burntOrange, she enjoys collecting books and documenting sporadic adventures with her camera.
